Run Dry

There are some who will never learn from the past. Nor learn for the future. They will do the same thing, make the same mistakes, over and over. Put the same confidence in the same people who will never be worthy of it. Ask the same why's and get the same answers, and never believe them.
I find myself run dry, seeing the same thing happen again and again to the same people. Trying to break away but being sucked back on in to console and give the same advice, support for the same reasons, distract from the same cause. And there, when I look, I am beginning to be just like them, getting caught in the same trap time after time.
Knowledge is the first step in a revolution.
